Firefly: Rebirth was a month-long exploration of what a second season of the TV series Firefly could look like. Created as part of NaNoWriMo 2018, this project was ideated over three podcast episodes, culminating in a full TV-length script for the first episode, as well as episode descriptions for the rest of the season.
The story is set 15 years after the events of Serenity, with the ship’s crew long since disbanded. However, a series of mysterious communications reunites them on a remote planet. They’re soon thrust into a new adventure together, one that will put them on a collision course with a dark power stirring in the far reaches of the ‘Verse.
