Kenobi: A Star Wars Story was the second full length episode of Let’s Write.
Before we even recorded a single episode, we knew that tackling a Star Wars script (or two, or three) would be towards the very top of our list of “dream projects” to imagine up. The idea for this particular episode came about around the time that Lucasfilm announced the cancellation of development on their Boba Fett anthology film. Given that, now seemed as good a time as any to explore a few concepts for our own Star Wars “stories.”
As the biggest fan of the prequels in our group, Julian was particularly keen on seeing what we could do with Obi-Wan Kenobi, setting the story between the events of Episode III and IV. Ryan’s idea for a Max Rebo musical will sadly have to wait.
